Dr Alison Gee combines her medical expertise with a compassionate, caring and attentive approach to her patients. With more than 17 years’ experience in the field, Alison takes the time to listen to patients, explain medical procedures in easy-to-understand language and to make sure couples are informed about results and treatment decisions – often contacting them personally between appointments.
Alison graduated from the University of Sydney in 1994 and obtained her Master of Reproductive Health and Human Genetics in 1999. She gained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian New Zealand College Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2002.

Alison is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOG), a member of the Fertility Society of Australia and is currently an Examiner for the candidates seeking sub-specialty CREI qualification.
Alison has previously held a Council position within RANZCOG for the CREI sub-specialty.
She is also a Visiting Medical Officer at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA) consulting in Infertility and Recurrent Miscarriage. Dr Alison Gee consults from her rooms in Kent Street, referring patients to Genea Fertility Clinic.
Alison’s research areas include birth outcomes associated with IVF and PGD. Alison has presented at Regional and National Conferences and co-authored peer reviewed publications.
Alison understands that seeking help with your fertility can be upsetting. She values the trust patients place in her, letting her into their confidence in a personal area of their lives. Her conversations, consultations and treatment decisions are respectful of this fact.
